Your Dashboard
The dashboard is your home base after signing in. It answers one question at a glance: what's happening with my email right now? This page tours the dashboard widgets, then points you to the main areas of the app.
At a glance
The top of the dashboard shows four stat cards:
| Stat | What it means |
|---|---|
| Needs Action | Emails that look like they need a reply or action from you. |
| Awaiting Reply | Emails where you're waiting on someone else to respond. |
| Rules Triggered | How many times your automations ran today. |
| Active Rules | How many of your rules are currently switched on. |
The first two cards show a small sparkline — a recent trend line — so you can see whether a number is climbing or settling. Each card links straight to the matching view, so you can go from a number to the actual emails behind it in one click.
Needs Action and Awaiting Reply come from response tracking — see Response tracking.
AI insights
An AI Insights widget surfaces recent AI activity in your inbox. It's still rolling out — its toggle in Dashboard Preferences is currently marked Coming Soon — so it may not be available in your account yet. See AI Insights.
Recent activity
A running list of your most recent rule executions — which rule fired, on which email, and when. Use View all to open the full Rule Logs, where you can inspect or undo what a rule did.
Quick actions
Shortcut buttons for the things you do most:

Getting around the app
The dashboard is one stop. Here's the rest of the map:
| Area | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Inbox | Your mail — read, reply, label, archive, and act on messages. See Inbox overview. |
| Replies | Conversations grouped by what they need from you — Needs Action and Awaiting Reply. See Response tracking. |
| Rules | Build, test, and manage your automations. See How rules work. |
| Analytics | What your automations have done, over time. See Analytics. |
| Settings | Connect accounts, tune AI, set scheduling, and more. See Connecting Gmail and Preferences. |
Search shortcut
On the email pages, press Cmd + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows / Linux) to jump straight to the inbox search box so you can start filtering mail without reaching for the mouse.

Make it yours
The dashboard is customizable. You can:
- Show or hide each widget (stats, AI insights, recent activity, quick actions).
- Choose a layout density — compact or comfortable.
- Set an auto-refresh interval, which only refreshes while the tab is focused to save resources.
You'll find these under Preferences.
If Gmail isn't connected yet, the dashboard shows a prompt to connect it. Start with the Quick Start or the setup walkthrough.
