Notifications

Decide how and when MailPrism updates you — in the app, by email digest, or both. Everything lives under Settings → Notifications. Use Save Changes to apply your edits.

In-app notifications

The In-App Notifications toggle turns the in-product notification feed on or off. When it's on, MailPrism shows alerts inside the app for activity and updates as they happen.

Email digest

An email digest is a periodic summary email — separate from immediate alerts. Choose a frequency:

OptionWhat you get
No digest emailsNo summary emails. (Immediate per-category alerts are still available — see below.)
Daily digestA summary every day at your chosen time.
Weekly digestA summary every Monday at your chosen time. (Recommended.)

Delivery time & timezone

When the digest is set to Daily or Weekly, a Delivery time dropdown appears. Pick the hour you'd like it to arrive. The time is interpreted in your timezone, which is shown beneath the dropdown.

Weekly activity report

The Weekly activity report toggle sends a summary of your automation each week — rules executed, emails processed, and AI usage. It's a quick way to see what MailPrism did on your behalf.

Category preferences

Open Category Preferences → Show advanced settings to fine-tune notifications per category. For each category you can independently toggle:

  • In-app — whether it appears in the in-product feed.
  • Email — whether it triggers an immediate email alert.

The categories are:

CategoryCovers
Rule ExecutionWhen your rules run on emails.
Response TrackingChanges to conversation follow-up states.
AI InsightsAI suggestions and observations.
SystemGeneral system messages.
System AlertsImportant system-level alerts.
BillingPlan, payment, and invoice events.
SecuritySign-in and account security events.
New FeaturesNewly shipped features.
Product UpdatesProduct news and changes.
DigestDigest-related messages.
Label ConflictsWhen synced labels clash across accounts.
Turn off email, keep in-app

Set a category's Email toggle off but leave In-app on to keep seeing it in the app without filling your inbox.

Good to know

  • Notifications respect your device's Do Not Disturb settings.
  • Email digests and reports are sent to your primary email address.
  • A digest of No digest emails still allows immediate per-category email alerts — the two settings are independent.
